John Fowler

John Fowler, age 83, of Gatesville passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel. John was born on July 15, 1931 in Coryell County, Texas to the late William Fowler and Florence Carroll Fowler. He graduated from Gatesville High School in 1948. He married Virginia Woodson on May 25, 1957. John owned and operated Fowler Auto Sales for many years. He was a member of Johnny Watkins Sunday School Class. He was also preceded in death by his son, Johnny Fowler; brother, Cecil; sisters, Floy Latham and JoDell Coates. John is survived by his wife, Virginia Fowler; sons, Robert Fowler and wife, Kelly and Steve Fowler and wife, Kelli; and two grandsons, Cody Fowler and Marshall Cross.
