Rolan Lee

Rolan Lee, age 83, of Gatesville passed away Monday, March 31, 2014. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 4, 2014 at Gatesville Church of Christ. Burial will follow at King Cemetery. There is no set time for visitation.Rolan was born on May 29, 1930 in Coryell City, Texas to the late Roy and Jewell Culp Lee. He attended school in Gatesville. He married Betty Russell in 1950. Rolan always put God first and he put others before himself. He was a pillar in the Gatesville community. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Jewell Lee.Rolan is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty Lee; sons, Jerry Lee and wife, Kathy, and Robert Lee and wife, Elizabeth; daughters, Kathy Wright, Barbara Jones and husband, Skeet, and Susan Meaders and husband, Keith; sister, Juanita Bynum; brother, Roy Lee, Jr.; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren on the way.Memorials may be made to Gatesville Church of Christ, 2417 E.
