Ursula Kietzer

Ursula Rosina Kietzer, age 80 of Gatesville, passed away on December 3, 2025.

As requested by family, no services are scheduled. Inurnment will be held at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas.

Ursula was born on May 13, 1945, in Bensheim, West Germany, to the late Johann and Rosina Spagerer. Ursula married Carl Kietzer in 1962. Ursula was proud to become a United States citizen on March 10, 1967, and the United States became her home.

Ursula worked at Guaranty Bank & Trust in Gatesville for 17 years. She could count money faster than anyone in the bank and she did it in German. She loved playing golf, completing crossword puzzles, and speed-reading books. Most of all, Ursula loved her husband of 63 years and her family.

Ursula is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Carl Kietzer; sons, Alan Kietzer and Eric Kietzer; grandchildren, Nicholas Kietzer, Daniel Kietzer, Kyle Galindo, and Kara Beth Kietzer; and great grandchildren, Emily Kietzer and Andrew Kietzer.
