Ulrike Renate Parker

Ulrike Renate Parker, age 77 of Copperas Cove, passed away on the evening of February 2, 2022. There are no services scheduled at this time.

Ulrike was born on June 12, 1944 in Gorlitz, Germany to the late Hans Werner and Martha Scholz. She grew up and attended school in Frankfurt, Germany. She married Edward Parker, US Army, while attending college. She moved to Copperas Cove in 1969 where she held various jobs throughout the years, but was most proud of her years at Texas Department of Corrections, from where she retired. Ulrike loved her grandkids and most enjoyed listening to oldies music, fishing, camping and riding horses. She was also a skilled seamstress. Ulrike had a zest for life and love for people. She had a special way of telling the stories of her past. She also loved to laugh and make other people laugh in her special way.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Parker; and her parents.  

Ulrike is survived by a brother, Micheal Warum; sister, Ursla Scholz; son, Andreas Parker Sr; daughter, Matina Parker/Webb; son-in-law, Eric Webb; grandsons, Andreas Parker Jr. and Spencer Webb; granddaughters Andre'ana Parker; Montana Webb, and Cierra Webb; great-grandson, Ryan Parker; great-granddaughters, Lola and Harper Mahlke.
