Terry James Durham went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 6, 2026.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at Evergreen-Bundrant Cemetery with Pastor Carlos Webb officiating.

Terry was born on January 5, 1969, to Mickey and Sue Squyres Durham. He grew up in Gatesville and graduated from Gatesville High School in 1987. After graduation, he proudly served in the United States Navy before beginning a career as a truck driver with Werner Enterprises. His work took him to many places, and he enjoyed traveling and seeing the country along the way, specifically the mountains. He also had a special love for his dog Twister, who was always by his side. 

Above all, Terry was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was loved deeply by his family and by the many people whose lives he touched. His absence will be felt by all who knew and loved him, and the memories he leaves behind will be cherished for years to come. 

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Mickey and Sue Durham. He is survived by his brothers, Michael Durham and his wife, Cheryle, and Jason Durham; as well as his niece and nephews, Matthew Durham, Ashley Durham, and Brandon Durham and his wife, Kenzie. 

Though Terry is no longer with us, he will remain in the hearts and memories of those who loved him. May he rest peacefully in the presence of the Lord.
