Stephen Lee O’Neal, age 52 of Gatesville, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024.

Stephen O’Neal was born on March 30, 1972 in Gatesville, where he grew up and attended school. He was a carpenter by trade and built houses in and around Coryell County. In addition to his work, Stephen found joy in the simpler pleasures of life, including his passion for arrowhead hunting and the companionship of his dog.

Stephen was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Beth O’Neal; and son, Stephen Lee O’Neal II. He is survived by his daughters, Sharonna Kring and Tiffany O’Neal; and grandchildren, Lilly, Lena, Joseph, Rylan, Jace, and Ashlyn.
