Rook Stovall

Rook Stovall, age 53 of Gatesville passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021 at his home.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Gatesville City Cemetery, with Rev. Kurt Fuessel officiating.

Jerry Paul (Rook) Stovall was born on August 15, 1968 in Gatesville, to Bill and Lillie Edwards Stovall.  He graduated from Gatesville High School in 1987.  He worked as a Paramedic at Coryell Memorial Hospital for many years, until he became medically disabled.  He loved his children, grandchildren and enjoyed camping.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bill in 2012.

Rook is survived by his mother, Lillie Stovall; sons, Colton Stovall and Kalib Stovall; sisters, Kimberly Forrest and Jennifer Shafer; six grandchildren, Kelly Stovall, Colt Brittain, Beau Stovall, Nephina Stovall, Logan Stovall and Lillani Stovall.
