Romi JoLee Bomar was born on June 13, 2007 to the late Joseph Majek and Tawyla Rhudy Diserens in Waco, Texas. At an early age, she was adopted by Lyle Bomar and was loved dearly. She was later blessed with best friend, and loving stepfather, Gaige Diserens. Romi grew up in Gatesville, graduating from Gatesville High School in 2025. While in high school, her biggest achievements were serving as captain of the Dazzlers drill team and the Gatesville High School wrestling team. She loved to dance and first started competing at age four. She was also a dance instructor and choreographer for Elite Dance, teaching young girls the art of dance. She was active in the Coryell County Youth Fair, showing livestock and participating in home economics, building metal art with her T-Taw, crafting with her GG, and baking with her B-Maw. She loved spending time on vacations with her family, snow skiing and going to the beach. She especially enjoyed going to Aruba with her mom to celebrate her high school graduation. Romi loved animals and was a fun-loving ray of sunshine who never met a stranger. She was a true friend who believed in kindness and was willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. As a CNA, many of the residents that Romi provided care to, often commented about how kind and empathetic she was towards their needs. She was currently enrolled in Temple College, seeking a degree in Cardiac Sonography. She loved Jesus and was baptized in the Leon River, becoming a devoted member of the Hay Valley Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Majek III, and grandfather, Joseph Majek Jr. She is survived by her mother, Tawyla Diserens and husband, Gaige; father, Lyle Bomar and Megan; brothers, Slayton Bomar and wife, Kendall, and Parker Diserens; grandparents, James Rhudy and wife Brenda, Jerry Bomar and wife Paula, Rockey Diserens and wife Kathy, and Geno Dwinell and wife, Deborah; great grandparents, Tom Diserens and wife, Sammie (MeMa); nephew, Riggins Bomar; boyfriend, Nate Brown; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
