Regina DeLord Blakley passed away April 14, 2024, in Gatesville.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 19 at Eastwood Baptist Church in Gatesville with Dr. Lynn Parks.

Regina was born on May 7, 1965, to Johnny Darrell and Ann Nell Hampton DeLord in Gatesville. She attended school in Gatesville and graduated with the class of 1985. Regina worked at Graves Florist for many years creating beautiful flower arrangements. Working with flowers was one of her favorite things to do. For the majority of her career, Regina worked at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as a correctional officer at multiple units.

Everyone knew Regina for her laugh, her boisterous spirit and her free opinions. Regina never met a stranger or a great deal she could refuse. The favorite name she is known by is Nina to her four grandchildren and many others who love her. Regina considered her father her hero for the Godly life that he lives in front of his kids. She considered her daughter Kally her greatest accomplishment.

Regina was preceded in death by her beloved fiancé, Charles Kenneth Oliver; her grandparents and many aunts and uncles.

Regina is survived by her parents, Johnny and Ann Nell DeLord; daughter, Kally Blakley; grandchildren, Jason, Adilyn, Ashur, Nahla Ann; brothers, Darrell and wife, Lisa; Blake, and wife, Kellie; Paul and wife, Lynne; multiple nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; Chelsea and Austin Youngblood who she considered her adopted kids, and many friends she considered family.
