Ray Nim Shelton

Ray Shelton, age 57 of Gatesville, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 5, 2022 under the pavilion at Flint Creek Cemetery, near Flat.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the cemetery.

Ray was born on December 20, 1964 in Gatesville.  He was the son of the late Jackie and Bennie Carlon Shelton.  He enjoyed listening to classic country music, gardening, and catching up with old friends.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his daughter, Chelsae Desormeaux and husband, Justin; grandchildren, Jacob and Emma Desormeaux; siblings, Deena Tanner and husband, Ronnie and Randy Shelton; and nieces and nephews, Jake Tanner, Ryan Tanner, Rhegan Tanner, and Shiloh Tanner.
