Patricia Ann Jones

Patricia Ann Jones, 74, of Gatesville went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 20, 2022, at Gatesville City Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Lentz officiating.

Patricia was born October 18, 1947, in Abilene, Texas to the late Clint and Minnie Baker Hopson. She had been a resident of Gatesville since 1974. Patricia was able to raise her family while attending college and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor.

Patricia worked as a transcriptionist in the medical records department at Coryell Memorial Hospital and later worked at the Texas Department of Pardons and Parole office for several years.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Dustin Pietsch.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Tracy Pietsch and husband, Tim; son, Casey Jones; sister, Jackual Baker; brother, Jimmy Hopson; and two grandchildren, Courtney and Jenna Pietsch.
