O'Neal Reneau

O’Neal Reneau, age 86 of Gatesville, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2019.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2019 at Restland Cemetery, with Minister Deral McWhorter officiating.

He was born on November 29, 1933 in the Brown’s Creek community of Coryell County, now part of Ft. Hood.  He served in the U.S. Army in Korea and was honorably discharged in 1958.  He married Maudeine Bird on July 11, 1958 and they resided in the Mountain community all their married lives.  He worked for United Telephone Company for over 20 years.  He was a member of Cedar Ridge Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maudeine in 2011; and his parents, Bob and Erma Lee McCallister.

O'Neal is survived by his daughters, Lisa Gallaway and husband, Tim, and Dee Anna Cooper; grandson, Ty Gallaway and wife, Linda; three great grandchildren and three great–great grandchildren.
