Michael Johnston

Michael Johnston, age 54 of Gatesville, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021 in Temple.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Restland Cemetery.

Michael was born on February 12, 1967 in Gatesville, to Cynthia Ann Homan Johnston and the late Dennis G. Johnston.  He was a lifetime resident of Gatesville.  He worked at Walls Manufacturing for many years and at Dairy Queen, that his family owned.  He enjoyed fishing, collecting Native American artifacts and playing pool.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Johnston; and grandparents, R.L. and Corine Homan.

He is survived by his mother, Cynthia Ann Johnston; sister, Denise Sullivan; loving companion, Suzie Vlaovich; uncle, Jeff Homan and wife, Renee; great aunt, Nelda Lowery; and numerous cousins.
