Michael Wayne Baize

Michael Baize, age 57 of Gatesville, passed away on the morning of March 4, 2021. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Restland Cemetery.

Michael was born on November 6, 1963 in Gatesville to Burney and Linda Baize. He attended school in Crawford, graduating from Crawford High School in 1982. Michael worked at M&M Mars in Waco where he was a senior operator on the Starburst line.  Michael liked using his hands. He was a good mechanic and also enjoyed building models. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed many hobbies that go along, such as hunting, fishing and shooting guns. Gone to soon, he will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Michael is survived by his son, Harrison Tyler Baize; parents, Burney and Linda Baize; stepdaughter, Haylie Danforth; step-grandchildren, Blakely Danforth and Tucker Adams; brother, Terry Baize and wife, Mica; nephews, Reed Baize, Brooks Baize, Truman Baize, and wife, Kadi; nieces, Micala Crownover and McKinley Crownover.
