Mary Jane Drake

Mary Jane Drake, age 84 of Frankewing, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2025, in Turnersville, Texas surrounded by family. Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.

Jane was born on December 24, 1940, in Brawley, California to the late Joe Malone and Norene Honeysuckle. Jane met her husband Jack Drake while attending high school in Brawley and they married in 1962. After having their only son, Brad, they made their home in California. Jane worked in accounting for many years. After retirement, Jane and her husband moved to Tennessee where they acquired the family farm. They spent many happy years raising animals, growing tomato plants, and serving in their church.

Jane will be remembered as a strong and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who cared deeply about her family.

Jane is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jack Drake.

She is survived by her son, Brad Drake, and wife, Shannon; granddaughters, Tiffany Mendiola and husband, Israel, Debbie Drake; and Jackie Drake; great grandchildren, Chanelle Drake-Anders, Gabriela Mendiola, and Isabella Mendiola; and sister, Jo Ann Bufford and her husband, Glen.
