Loretta Ann Moore

Loretta Ann Bailey Moore passed away Thursday, August 11, 2022 at her home in Gatesville. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Sunday, September 4, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Levita Baptist Church.

Loretta was born August 1, 1938 in San Antonio, Texas to Henry Ford Bailey and Frankie Regina Bell Bailey. She lived and worked in the Houston area for many years and on June 11, 1959 she married Raymond Eugene Moore.

Loretta loved the outdoors and would go fishing and hunting with Gene, they especially enjoyed saltwater fishing together. She and Gene had several dogs over the years that they loved. Loretta’s little Chihuahua ,“Peanut” will truly miss her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; all her siblings; and her beloved husband, Gene, who passed in 2008.

Loretta is survived by her son, Raymond E. Moore, Jr. and wife, Marleen of Purmela and a grandson, Clifton Cade Moore and his family.

Loretta’s family would like to thank Janetta Millsap and Bill Wessell  for their help through the years and a special thank you to the nurses and doctors at Bluebonnet Hospice.
