Linda Susan Miller

Linda Susan Miller, 71, of Gatesville, Texas passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026. Linda was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 11, 1955. The daughter of the late Roger and Frances J. Monfeli (Mirabile), Linda grew up in Bensenville and attended Fenton High School.

Early on Linda moved to Texas. She always enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She became the BBQ hub of the family. Everybody who knew Linda called her mom! She was willing to help anybody anyway she could. She was known for her wonderful cooking, and her favorite pastime was knitting baby items for family and friends.

She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Charles (Beverly) Farina, Michael (Mandi) Farina, stepdaughter Stephanie (Kervens Michel) Miller, stepson Christopher (Adrianna) Miller, brother Ron (Jodi) Monfeli, and sister Geri (Tony) Berg.

Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren Kirsten, Emily, Michael, Johnny Wayne, Jaxon, and Isaac; step-grandchildren Jordan, Tatiana, Delilah, Jameson and Annalise and is continued through her nephews Eric and Brandon Berg; and many more family members.

Linda was preceded in death by her devoted husband Ernest (Ernie) H. Miller. They lived in Plaistow, New Hampshire where they loved traveling and enjoying quiet time together. After he passed away in May 2025, she moved back to Texas to be closer to her sons, Charles and Mike. She was excited to have recently purchased a home so she could host all the family functions. She will be dearly missed and remembered for her smile and generosity. She will always be enriched into our hearts and memories.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 18, 2026, near her childhood home in Illinois. Time and place to be determined.
