Linda McCarver McClure

Linda McCarver McClure, 73 of Longview, Texas was born on April 29, 1947 in Gatesville, Texas to Joseph and Maedell Pollard McCarver and passed away August 11, 2020.

Friends are welcome to join the family to memorialize Linda as they place a memorial bench in her memory at 12:00 noon, October 24, 2020 at the McCarver Family Cemetery, on County Road 245 near Gatesville.  Following the memorial, all are invited to the Knife and Cork Restaurant on Main Street in Gatesville, between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.  There will be light appetizers served and the opportunity to share in the many fond memories of Linda Ann.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Steven Andrew McClure; and brothers, J.L. and Glendel McCarver.

Linda is survived by her husband of 40 years, Dr. George McClure, DDS; son, Matthew Gentry McClure and wife, Kristina; daughters, Dr. Georgia Leigh Altom and husband, Clifton, Stacie DaLyn Barr and husband, Thaddaus Leroy, and Misti Sue Malanca and husband, Dennis; brother, Gary McCraver; sister, Peggy Sue Hodges; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
