Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 24, 2018 at White Mound Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Cox officiating. Pearl was born on August 19, 1921 in the Mound community to the late Luther and Lizzie Polston Kinsey.  She married James Deckard Jones in 1939 and celebrated a 54-year marriage with him until his death in 1994. She had one daughter, Ardenna Pearl Jones Best. She retired from M&M Mars at age 69 where she was proud to have worked as the only female machinist for many years. She was a member of White Mound Baptist Church. She loved her church and her friends. She was a spectacular gardener and gladly provided tours of her floral showcase to anyone that entered her backyard.   Pearl was a hard-working, remarkable woman of strength who never waned in her support or love of her family, and who soldiered on relentlessly through anything life threw her way. She possessed an unbreakable spirit. Her determination and drive were infectious. She consistently exemplified the importance of faith, family, love, and kindness. Her character is truly timeless as pieces of it lives on in each of us. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Lizzie Kinsey; husband, James Jones; and twelve siblings. Pearl is survived by her daughter, Ardenna Best; five grandchildren, Rene Schoppe and husband, George; Sam Best and wife, Nancy; Denise Kleshick and husband, Jim; Angela Nickerson and husband, Curtis; Daniel Best and wife, Amy; ten great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
