Laura Lee Bishop

Laura Lee Bishop, age 40 of Gatesville, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Grace Bible Church with Pastor Perry Garrett officiating.

Laura was born on September 22, 1978 in Big Lake, Texas to Addie Ferguson Kuzenka and the late Lonnie Bishop.  She loved the outdoors and nature.  She had a great green-thumb and enjoyed working in the yard.  She could make something grow that no one else could.  She also loved her family and friends, spending time with them, having fun and laughing.  She was very generous and always put others before herself, even if it meant she would go without.

She is also preceded in death by a brother, Lonnie Bishop, Jr. and grandparents, Robert and Mae Ferguson and Wedith and Corine Bishop.

She is survived by her mother, Addie Kuzenka and husband, Johnny, Sr; sons, Brady Elliott, Dayton Vest and Avery Vest; grandson, Jaxton Michael Elliott; sister, Jennifer Dossey and husband, Willis; brother, Howard Bishop; step-sisters, Cheryl Johnson and husband, Mike, Shanna Hitchcock and husband, Tim and Felicia Hetue and husband, Ken; step-brother, Johnny Kuzenka, Jr. and wife. Leeann; nieces, Chelsea Shults and husband, Logan, Kyla Summers, Harley Krueger, Caitlin Bishop; and nephew, Riley Bishop.
