Keven Joseph Hines

Keven Joseph Hines, age 65, of Gatesville, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025.

Keven was born on February 1, 1960, to the late Arthur and Shirley Martin Hines in Lawrence, Massachusetts. He grew up and attended school in Methuen, Massachusetts. At age 17, he enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served in the 82nd Airborne Division for the next fourteen years.

After his military career, Keven worked as a consultant for various pharmaceutical companies around the world. In 2017, while working in New Delhi, India, he met the love of his life, Latika Gahlot. They married two years later on December 11, 2019.

While in India, Keven devoted much of his free time to volunteering at several orphanages, where he gave support and encouragement to children in need. His love for the outdoors took him and Latika on many adventures, including hiking, parasailing, hang gliding, boating, bungie jumping, and traveling. One of his proudest personal accomplishments was being able to swim in the Ganges River.

Keven was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Steven Hines. He is survived by his wife, Latika Hines; son, Jai Hines; brothers, Richard Hines and Joseph Hines and wife, Barbara; and his beloved dog, Max.
