Kermit Lee Kuhn

Kermit Lee Kuhn, 78, of Temple, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025, surrounded by his wife, daughters, and loved ones. Born on September 23, 1947, in Keyser, West Virginia, Kermit lived a life defined by strength, determination, and family. Though he didn’t always express it outwardly, his love ran deep, and his pride in his family was unmistakable. His journey was shaped by perseverance and quiet conviction, leaving behind a legacy that speaks to both his complexity and his care.

Kermit proudly served in the United States Army for 21 years, dedicating himself to a life of discipline, duty, and service. His military career reflected the same values he carried throughout his life—commitment, resilience, and a deep sense of responsibility.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ada Maxine Kuhn; his father, Roscoe Elmer Coolidge Kuhn; his brother, Jeffrey Kuhn; his sister, Alberta Jean Kuhn; his sister, Marcia Kuhn Hill; and his brother, Robert Kuhn.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Donna L. Kuhn (Hanlin); his daughters, Rebecca Glasco (Waylon Glasco) and Sarah Devine (Frank Devine); his grandchildren, Kayla Eggenberger (Tim Eggenberger), Nicole Donaldson (Logan Donaldson), Austin Jansen, Ashley Devine, and Hunter Glasco, stepson to Rebecca; and his great-grandchildren, Luke Eggenberger, Wyatt Donaldson, and Elliot Sandoval. He is also survived by eight of his thirteen siblings, whose lives were shaped by the same enduring values of loyalty and love that Kermit carried throughout his own.

Kermit was a kind and loving grandfather who cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He would do anything he could for them—offering support, sharing wisdom, and celebrating their milestones with pride. His love for them was deep and unwavering, and he carried that pride in his heart every day.

A memorial service will be held on June 27, 2026, at Calvary Temple in Mount Storm, West Virginia.

Kermit’s life was a testament to love lived through action, the strength of quiet determination, and the enduring bonds of family. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
