Kendra Neva Marlin

Kendra Neva Marlin, age 40 of Waxahachie passed away on July 25, 2026. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 31 at Restland Cemetery in Gatesville, Texas.

Kendra was born on January 14, 1986, to Kenny and Odena Marlin in Tracy, California. When Kendra was seven, her family moved to Texas and she attended school in DeSoto, graduating from Desoto High School in 2004. Kendra was the Tennis team captain all four years of high school. She played the flute and piccolo in the high school band and performed in the Rose Bowl Parade in California. Kendra excelled in school and received the governor’s award for academic achievement.

Kendra was preceded in death by her grandparents. She is survived by her parents, Kenny Marlin and Odena Marlin.
