Kelly O. Parks

Kelly O. Parks age 69 of Gatesville, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024 in Hamilton.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 23, 2024 at Scott’s Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Kelly was born on November 18, 1954 in El Paso, to the late John O. and Kelly B. Cooper Parks. He grew up in Odessa and graduated from Permian High School. He enjoyed cooking, grilling, horse racing, gardening, garage sales and storytelling, while having a beer. He worked for his brother-in-law, Dwaine Lee for many years. He regularly attended Johnny Watkins Sunday School Class. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Dwaine Lee.

Kelly is survived by his wife, Anita Parks; sisters, Karen Lee and John Stephens; son, Mark Bovee; nine grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved and adored him.
