Linda Joy Tucker, age 69 of Gatesville, passed away on Wednesday, March 03, 2021 in Temple

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Restland Cemetery, with Rev. Ridge Adams officiating.  Visitation with the family will be from 12:00 noon until 1:30 p.m. at Scott’s Funeral Home.

Linda Joy was born on April 11, 1951 in Temple to the late Billy Joe Davis and Wilma Doy Thomas Noble.  She grew up in Belton and graduated from Belton High School in 1969.  She married Billy Tucker on August 29, 1980.  During her career, she worked at Scott & White, McLane and Kings Daughters in Temple, Central Texas M.H.M.R. in Austin and retired from Coryell Memorial Hospital in 2011.  Her husband preceded her in death on January 31, 2020.  She was a member of Willow Grove Baptist Church in Moody.

She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Denise Householder and husband, Chuck, Tricia Denise Tucker and husband, Jermaine; brothers, Scotty Jo Davis and wife, Mary, Billy Wayne Davis and wife, Cindy; grandchildren, Linzie, Vicente, Kandi, Terri, JaDen, Ashlynn, Nyla, Anyssa; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
