Jose Erasmo Morales-Vazquez

Jose Erasmo Morales Vazquez, age 41 of Evant, passed away on December 29, 2019 at his home.  Mass will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Gatesville.

Jose was born on November 15, 1978 in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico to Jose Raymundo Morales and Maria Isabel Vazquez Hernandez.  He grew up and attended school in Mexico. Jose moved to Texas in 1995. He started to work as a welder and 25 years later was still working the trade.  Jose was a family man, loved being around family. He liked grilling for his family and was known to carry a tune every now and then.  He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Jose is survived by his wife, Maria Lopez; daughters, Tanya and Daisy Morales; sons, Edgar and Joe Morales; his parents; sisters, Maria Elizabeth Morales Vazquez, Maria Rosalba Morales Vazquez, Maria Brenda Morales Vazquez, Marisol Morales Vazquez, Ana Lilia Morales Vazquez, and Sandra Morales Vazquez; brothers, Juan Morales Vazquez, and Jose Saturnino Morales Vazquez.
