John David Fairchild

John David Fairchild, age 75, of Gatesville, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019 in Temple, Texas.  Memorial services will be held at a later date. John Was born August 17, 1943 in Miami, Oklahoma.  He was the son of Lawrence and Gladys Roles Fairchild.  He married Susie Key on October 12, 1963.   He was a devoted husband and loving father.  He was known for his unique sense of humor.  John was also known as the singing Sheriff in Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, John David Fairchild, Jr. and a daughter, Kelli Page. John is survived by his wife of 55 years, Susie Fairchild; son, Patrick Fairchild; daughters, Ginger Tucker and husband Mark, Natalie Rivers and husband Edwin, Leslee Estes and husband Scott and Maile Fairchild.
