Jo Alice Bruton

Jo Bruton, age 92 of Gatesville, passed away on the afternoon of November 11, 2020 in Gatesville. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Restland Cemetery. Jo was born on July 4, 1928 in the Osage community to the late Wesley Jayroe and Lelah Evetts Jayroe. She grew up in and around Gatesville and lived in the area all of her life. Jo worked for Flentge Drug as a bookkeeper for 54 years. She loved working puzzles and her dog “Tinsie” her pride and joy. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Estine Draper; second husband, Clarence Bruton. Jo is survived by sister-in-law, Betty Haynes and husband, Zonnell; niece, Carla Wohlfort and husband, Lee; nephews, Wil Jackson and wife, Jamie, Jason Jackson and David Jackson and wife, Christineand Gary Bruton and wife Susie.
