Jeffrey Wayne Pierce

Jeffrey Wayne Pierce, 55 of Gatesville, passed away at his home on Friday, June 19, 2026.

Jeff was born on December 23, 1970 in Jacksonville, Texas to the late Sonny and Sharon Smelly Pierce. He grew up and attended school in Gatesville. An electrician by trade, Jeff spent much of his life working in general maintenance throughout the Gatesville area. He was truly a jack of all trades and could fix just about anything. He especially enjoyed working on cars, listening to music and taking trips to the beach.

Jeff was a devoted son, brother, father, and friend whose gift was his generous heart. He was the kind of person that would give the shirt off his back to someone else in need. He was always there to lend a hand, offer advice, or simply be there when someone needed him. His kindness, compassion and selflessness touched countless lives and will not be forgotten. He is now reunited with loved ones before him, including his mother, father, brother and daughter, who he missed dearly and carried in his heart daily.

Jeff leaves behind seven loving siblings, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory. Though he leaves behind an immeasurable void, his level of generosity, love, and unwavering support for others will continue to live on through all that knew him.

He taught us the importance of family, kindness, and helping others without expecting anything in return. His laughter, strength, and caring spirit will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
