Henrietta Carol Green

Henrietta C. Green, 84, of Oglesby passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022 at her residence. Graveside services will be Thursday, October 27^th at 10:00 AM at Post Oak Cemetery in Oglesby with Pastor Jeremy Sanders of First Baptist Church Oglesby presiding.

Henrietta was born September 27, 1938 in Mound, Texas to the late Victor Calvin and Eunice Louise (King) Green. She graduated from Oglesby High School, Class of 1955 and eventually earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Baylor University, an accomplishment she was very proud of. Henrietta enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, reading the newspaper, working crossword puzzles, and working around her home. She loved animals and helping anyone in need. Henrietta loved “Big O”, her hometown of Oglesby, and was proud to be a part of such a wonderful and kind community.  

Henrietta is survived by her son, Jody Ridling; daughter, Vicki Ellison; grandchildren, Blake and Chase Wragge and Linsey Ellison; and 5 great grandchildren.
