Hannelore Christa Fontenot

Hannelore Christa Fontenot, age 78 of Gatesville, passed away on the morning of May 5, 2020. A memorial service will be held at the North Pointe Church in Copperas Cove, TX at 1:00 p.m. May 30, 2020. Burial will take place at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.

Christa was born on October 31, 1941 in Berlin, Germany to the late Rudolf and Gertrud Ligat. She grew up in Berlin, Germany. Christa was a devoted Christian and loved Children. She spent the majority of her free time in helping others through time and prayer.

Christa is survived by her husband of 59 years, Joseph Fontenot; and children Kenneth Fontenot, Christine Pike, Tammy Fontenot and Michael Fontenot.
