Glee Hope Sturdivant

Glee Hope Sturdivant passed away peacefully in her home on June 1, 2025, at the age of 83.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 14 at Turnersville Cemetery in Turnersville, Texas with Rick Moore officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas and Scott’s Funeral Home in Gatesville, Texas.

Glee was born on April 18, 1942, in Trout, Louisiana to Gladys and Haywood Weaver. She grew up in Nederland, Texas. She married Loyd Ray Sturdivant in March of 1960. They made their home in Angleton, Texas where they raised two boys, Jeffrey Loyd Sturdivant and David Wayne Sturdivant.

Glee is survived by her husband, Loyd; son Jeffrey Sturdivant and wife, Virginia; son David Sturdivant and wife, Lisa; four grandchildren, Bryan Sturdivant, Jenevi Sturdivant, Courtney Hoyt and husband, Tyler, and Lauren Sturdivant; and two great-grandchildren, Hudson and Jack Hoyt.

Glee was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Lawrence Wayne Weaver.
