Felecia Everett, 61, of Denver, Colorado, went home to be with the Lord, January 14, 2020, in Gatesville, Texas. Visitation and celebration of her life will be January 25th at Scott’s Funeral Home in Gatesville. Visitation will begin at noon. The funeral will start at 1 pm. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery. Felecia was born on April 1, 1958, in Denver, Colorado, to Furman and Yvonne Woodson. She attended the public schools of Denver, Colorado. Felecia accepted Christ at the age of 20 at The House of Joy Miracle Deliverance Church under the leadership of Apostle Rubin Beechum and would later serve under Apostle Leon Emerson of Now Faith Christian Center Church. She was always committed to spreading the gospel of Christ whether it was in a ministerial capacity or just in one-on-one conversation. Her goal was simple, to share the love of Christ by testifying of all the many things He had done. Felecia is survived by her six children: LaDon Woodson and wife, LaTonya, Alfred Eric Story II, Chris Davis, and Adrian Everett, Danielle Everett, and Walter Everett III born to her with her former spouse, Walter Everett Jr. Her mother: Yvonne Woodson, sisters: Marlene Sams, Glenora Ryer, Cheryl Woodson, Tracy Baxter and brother: Gregory Woodson. She also leaves behind eighteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren that she loved very much. She was preceded in death by her father: Furman Woodson, her brothers: Leroy, Jimmy, Reggie, Michael and her sister: Linda. She will be remembered for having a profound love for God and His Word, a desire to help others know God, and a willingness to help anyone in need. Her memory and legacy will live on through the many lives that she touched. Family Colors: Burgundy and Black Flowers: Burgundy Roses (Please, no Carnations)
