Faye "Nanny" Oglesby-Capella

Faye Oglesby-Capella, daughter of Joesi Oglesby-Capella and Ethan Capella, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023, she was 21 months old.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 8, 2023 at Scott's Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Matt Dossey officiating.  Private family interment will be held at King Cemetery.

Harper Faye Oglesby-Capella, known to all as “Nanny” was born on July 30, 2021 in Ardmore, Oklahoma.  She was a lover of song and dance and there was never a dull moment in her presence.  She was the first to go to bed and the first to awaken in the morning and always clinging to her mother.  Nanny was full of life and loved bringing a smile to anyone’s face.  She loved all animals and big hugs, almost as much as she loved food.  She was surrounded by her many siblings and always the “Star of the Show” in the Wild Bunch.

Nanny is survived by her parents, Joesi Rae Oglesby-Capella and Ethan Wade Capella; grandparents, Jeff and Majken Meyers, Joe Oglesby, Teresa and Chuck Wheeler, John Capella, Ricky Shoaf; great grandparents, Bonnie and Billy Fisher, Laura Bates; siblings, Payzelynn Faith, Brylie Rae, Breatlynn Grace, Ethan Shea, Madison Hope, Waylon James Wade, William Otis Ridge; and numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
