Ethan Daniel Sandell age 16, was called home to be with our Lord on Saturday, April 27th, 2019 upon passing as the result of a tragic auto accident. Services for Ethan will be held at Coryell Community Church in Gatesville TX at 3:00 pm on Thursday May 2, 2019. All who would like to come celebrate the life of Ethan Sandell are welcome to attend. Burial will follow at Mound Cemetery in Mound, Texas. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Scott’s Funeral Home.
Ethan was born February 2, 2003 in Temple, Texas to Brandon Sandell and Delisa Martin Sandell. Ethan was in his sophomore year at Gatesville High School, and a member of the tennis team. He was involved in an automotive technology program and was in charge of video recording high school basketball games. Ethan was a friend to all and was there for whoever needed him. Surrounded by friends, he was always happy and shone a bright and loving light, filled with affirmations of his dear friends and family. Ethan’s favorite subject in school was math and he was well-liked by each of his teachers. He was actively involved with the CCC youth group, attending every Wednesday night service for the past three years. Ethan held an important voluntary role at each service, as he ran the tech and lighting booth. A young man of such a kind and gentle nature, you could not find in all your days. Ethan loved a many number of things, but those he loved most are his big family, his beautiful friends and his wonderful life. While all of us will miss him the rest of our days, we will remember him for his joy, his smile and his enduring love of life.
Ethan is the loving son of Brandon and Delisa Sandell, loving brother to Christopher Sandell, grandson of Connie Choate, Rickie and Kathy Sandell, Mark Martin, Peggy Finnan and Preston McNeely, loving nephew to Patrick and Jennifer Martin, Chris Martin, David and Stephanie Hopkins, Shay and Jodi Choate and Elizabeth Stubblefield, multiple cousins, Sydney and Jonathan Martin, Stormie Martin, Michael, Faith and Chastity Choate, Easton and Elexauna, as well as many extended family and loving friend to all who knew him.
