Elizabeth Odell Dent Midgley passed away on Sunday May 10, 2026, at the age of 72.

Memorial services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Monday, June 1, 2026, at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

Elizabeth was born on January 27, 1954, in Timpson, Texas to the late Jack and Betty Alene Coppedge Dent. She grew up in Guthrie, Texas, where she later graduated high school. During her school years, Elizabeth enjoyed playing basketball and made many lifelong memories with friends and family.

She dedicated many years of service working for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice before retiring. While working for TDCJ, she also continued her education by taking college classes, showing her determination and strong work ethic.

Elizabeth is survived by her loving children, Richard McDonald, Miranda McDonald and husband Robert Clater; her brother, Troy Dent; her four granddaughters and five grandsons; and her 13 great-granddaughters, all of whom she loved dearly.
