Earl H. Wolske

Earl H. Wolske, age 87 of Jonesboro, passed away on March 2, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5 at Scott’s Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Dossey officiating. Interment will follow at Jonesboro Cemetery. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service.

Earl was born on February 20, 1939, in Riesel, Texas to the late Ben and Esther Wolske. In 1957, Earl married Beth Ramsey and they settled and raised their family in Jonesboro. He was active in the United States Army for two years and with M.A.T.E.S. for 36 years. After retirement, Earl enjoyed spending time ranching on the farm in the Jonesboro area. His favorite hobbies were fishing and hunting.

Earl was a retired deacon in the Jonesboro Baptist Church where he served since 1974. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by his family. Earl enjoyed his two extra fur babies, George and Brownie.

Earl is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jerry Wolske.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Beth Wolske; son, David Wolske and significant other, Paula Smith; daughter, Elizabeth Hamilton and husband, James; grandchildren, Steven Hamilton and wife, Star, John Mark Hamilton and significant other, Jeff Berneking, Sheena Wolske and husband, T.W. Tyroch, and Jed Wolske; great grandchildren, James Hamilton and McKenna Tyroch; a great-great grandchild, Emery Hamilton; brothers, Gene Wolske and Charles Wolske; and sisters, Shirley Snoddy and Martha King.
