Douglas Paul Barnard

Paul Barnard, age 65, of Gatesville passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019. Funeral Services will be at 5:00 pm on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Scott’s Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Friday at the funeral home. Paul was born June 28, 1953 in Gatesville to the late Ray and Dovie Warren Barnard. He attended school in Gatesville before joining the United States Army. Paul worked for Kaylin Sibert for the past 21 years where he made many friends. He enjoyed doing puzzles and spending time with his grandchildren. He married Regina Hand Hajdik on March 7, 1997.  He loved his coffee. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and one brother. Paul is survived by his wife Regina Hajdik; children, Stacy Proctor and husband, Gary, Philip Longoria and wife, Stacy, Scott Hajdik and wife, Danielle, Stephanie Simmons and husband, Rob; sisters, Nita Barnard, Edith Paul and husband, Ronald; Mike Barnard and wife, Ruby; 13 grandchildren.
