Donnie Charles Pruitt

Donnie Pruitt, age 72 of Gatesville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, September 6, 2024.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Restland Cemetery with Pastor Stephen Schmidt officiating. 

Donnie Charles Pruitt was born November 29, 1951 to the late Sidney and Louise Pruitt in Temple. He graduated from Gatesville High School and later from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Education. Donnie taught and coached at several school districts in Texas. 

Donnie was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Patsy Pruitt; and many beloved aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his son, Christopher Evan Pruitt; sister, Debbie Martin; nieces, Amanda Martin, Kayla Sellers and husband, Kyle; nephew, Seth Martin and wife, Lorna; great nephews, Brendan Sellers, and Britt Martin; and great niece, Sydney Sellers.
