Dencie Mae Lutz

Dencie Lutz, age 91 of Hamilton, went to heaven on July 14, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. 

Celebration of Life services will be scheduled at a later date.

Dencie Mae Partridge Lutz was born on July 28, 1931, to Melvin and Edna Partridge in Norfolk, Virginia.  Dencie married the love of her life, Clifford Lutz on April 20, 1972 in Chesapeake, Virginia.  They moved to Bedford, Texas shortly thereafter to pursue their respective careers, she with Sarah Coventry, and he with the Federal Aviation Administration.  Their love of Christ led them to open their home to a group of Christians, who would later go on to establish Gospel Light Church in Haltom City, Texas. 

Dencie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clifford; her infant daughter, Brenda Sue; her sister Mary Moffitt, and Mary’s husband, Lawrence.

She is survived by her niece, Sharon Gifford and husband, John; nephew, Blair Moffitt and wife, Vickie; great-niece, Emily Pinson and husband, Joshua; “sweet girl”, Emily Weems; special “sister”, Jackie Gifford Robinson; long time close friend and pastor, Kathy Cunningham; and a loving church family.
