Debra (Jeanne) Jean Griffith

Debra Jean Griffith (Jeanne), age 70, of Gatesville, Texas passed away on Tuesday evening, June 2, 2026.

A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Trinity Baptist Church, with Pastor Sam Crosby officiating.

Jeanne was born on December 5, 1955 in Midland, Texas to Howard and Janis Davis Glass. She was raised by her parents in Midland and graduated from Midland High School in 1974. She graduated from Texas Women’s University with her Bachelor of Science Degree in 1978. Later in life, she achieved a Master of Health Services Management Degree from Mary Hardin Baylor in the year 2000.

Jeanne worked for Coryell Memorial Hospital from 1980 until her retirement in 2020. She was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church in Gatesville and was much beloved by her community - known for her laugh, her wisdom, and unwavering faith in Jesus as her Lord.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Jeanne is survived by her daughters, Jennifer McFadden and husband Randy, and Megan Vitatoe and husband Corey; her brother, Gary Glass and his wife Melody; as well as her four grandchildren, Asher Allen, Ryah McFadden, Micah Vitatoe, and Noah Vitatoe. She is also survived by a great many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
