Darrel Lee Brown

Darrel Lee Brown, age 80, of Gatesville, passed away Friday, March 29, 2019 in Gatesville, Burial will be at 5 p.m., Thursday April 4, 2019 at Turnersville, Cemetery.  A Memorial service will follow at the Turnersville Community Center. Darrel was born December 3, 1938 in Garber, Oklahoma to the late Matthew Luke Brown and Betty Arlene Revell Brown.  He graduated from Perryton High School in West, Texas.  Darrel had many different jobs.  The last job was working for GISD in the cafeteria for 6 years.  He worked as an LVN and a Med Aide in Oklahoma for several years.  Darrel Married Mary Petty on September 12, 1998.  He loved fishing, gardening and crafting.  Darrel loved his family especially his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gary Brown. Darrel is survived by his wife, Mary Brown; daughters, Romana Enquest and Rhonda Fisher; sons, Darren Brown and wife Kimberly,  Brian Maloney and wife Alicia and Darrin Maloney;  brothers, Ronald Brown and Michael Brown; 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews;  and numerous friends and other relatives.
