Daniel Brannock

Daniel Christopher Brannock of Glen Rose, Texas, age 34, passed away in Irving, Texas on Tuesday, Dec13th 2022.  He was born in Arlington, Texas on October 13, 1988 to Elaine Gormley Brannock King and Richard H. Brannock.  Daniel grew up in the DFW area of North Texas attending schools in the Grand Prairie ISD, Mansfield ISD and Arlington ISD.  Daniel graduated from Martin High School in 2007, where he wrestled on the Varsity Wrestling Team.  Daniel was an Eagle Scout where he served in various leadership positions. He was a graduate of the Hill College Fire Academy. Daniel completed two years of coursework at Tarrant County Community College.  Daniel was an Elder in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. 

Daniel loved anything with two wheels and an engine.  He relished riding dirt bikes and street bikes, it was one of his passions.  He also loved turning wrenches and working with his hands and doing just about any odd job he confronted.  One of Daniel's hobbies was skateboarding, where he thrilled in shredding with his skateboard attempting to master kick flips or ollies.

By far the greatest joy in Daniel's life is his daughter Luci. Every time Daniel spoke of Luci, he sparked with enthusiasm for the beautiful angel that clearly had her daddy wrapped around her finger.  Daniel was known for being sweet, gentle and always demonstrating kindness to others.

Daniel was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Michael Brannock.

Daniel is survived by his parents, Richard Harkness Brannock (Rosana) and Elaine Gormley Brannock King (Bruce); brothers, Richard W Brannock, Andrew Brannock, Michael Brannock, Grant Brannock; sister, Janine Collins; daughter, Luciannah Rae Brannock; grandmother, Nanita Gormley; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Daniel will be sorely missed by all and will always be remembered.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday December 21, 2022 at Hemmeline Cemetery, near Gatesville.
