Reagan High School and later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics and computer science from the University of Houston.  He served four years in the United States Air Force, including fifteen months on security service in Samsun, Turkey.  After returning to Houston, he worked for Gulf Oil Corporation and Cameron Iron Works as a Systems Analyst.  He also designed the blood bank program for M.D. Anderson Hospital.

Hughes Unit.

Dale served as a board member for the Gatesville Country Club and Gatesville Chamber of Commerce.  He was the Gatesville Country Club’s Golf Club Champion in 1983.

After his retirement, he and Rhonda traveled extensively and always enjoyed seeing new places.  He loved his wife, his sons, and all his grandchildren, as they were the light of his life.  He was the best husband, Dad and Pepaw.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis Aaron and Lorraine Mohler; sister, Deborah Mohler Smith; niece, Tamara Smith; nephew, Keith Norsworthy; and his favorite brother-in-law, Harold Vandiver.
