Corey High

Corey James High, 32, of Gatesville passed away Monday, August 15, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Lynn Turnbow officiating.

Corey was born March 8, 1990, in Eugene, Oregon. He worked as Service Manager at Spur Chevrolet. He recently graduated from Central Texas College in May of  2022, with an Associate Degree. He was a proud veteran having served in the United States Air Force.

Corey was vibrant and full of life. He was extremely focused and goal oriented. When he wasn’t working on his project cars, he might be found in the kitchen cooking something delicious. He was a true friend, unwavering in his values. Corey was always himself, caring and considerate and a friend when you needed one. He valued his relationships with others and loved fiercely. He adored his family and cherished time spent with them. He was loved by everyone that had the privilege to meet him.  Corey was a loving son, grandson, great grandson, brother, nephew, and uncle and will be forever missed by his family and friends.
