Connie Sue Clemons passed away on August 31, 2026, in Gatesville, Texas. Private family services will be scheduled at a later date.

Connie was born in Gatesville on October 15, 1955, to the late James and Patty Baize Clemons. Connie graduated from Gatesville High School in 1974 and 4C Business College in Waco. Connie worked at Gatesville Printing and Office Supply with her parents for many years before moving to California. She moved back to Gatesville and worked at TDCJ where she retired.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her son, Brandon Ayers and wife, Robbie; grandchildren, Sean Ayers and wife, Hanna, Elodie Ayers, Lucas Ayers and wife, Izzy; great grandson, Colton Ayers; sister, Cindy Hothan and husband, Don; niece, Amanda Wiskow and husband, Kyle; nephew, Andy Hothan; great niece, Addison Wisko; and great nephew, Reece Wiskow.
