Christopher D. Peltier

Christopher D. Peltier, age 53 of Gatesville, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021 in Gatesville.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Harmony Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.

Chris was born on June 1, 1968 in Killeen to Floyd Peltier Sr. and Sally Troutman Peltier. He grew up and attended school in Killeen.  After high school Chris joined the Army National Guard and worked at M.A.T.E.S. in Gatesville for over 23 years. He met Kathy Byrd in October of 1998 and they were married on May 26, 2006 in Gatesville. He enjoyed wood crafting in his shop, taking care of his yard, remodeling his house, grilling and spending time with family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Peltier Sr. and Sally Peltier.

Chris is survived by his wife of 15 years, Kathy Peltier; sons, Matthew Peltier and wife, Debbie of Whitney, James Peltier of Gatesville, Brandon Kneeland of Hamilton; daughter, Ashley Kneeland of Grove, Oklahoma; six grandkids with another one on the way; sister, Patricia McHatton; brothers, Floyd Peltier Jr. and Jeffery Peltier.
