Christopher Harper

  Christopher Harper, age 50, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 8, 2019. Memorial services are at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at The Presbyterian Church in Gatesville, at 1110 East Main Street. Services will be officiated by Brother Shawn Paul. Chris was born September 4, 1968 in Hannibal, Missouri to Jean Ann Harper and the late Bernard Francis Harper.  He worked in the construction industry for many years. He was known as Braums Harper. He loved life itself, playing dominoes, hacky sack, pool and much more.  He laughed clear up to the end. Chris is survived by his mother Jean Ann Harper; sisters, Tanna Harper and Tina Wicker; his soul mate of 14 years, Linda Hobby; children, Valerie Hobby, Patty Hobby and Ashley Hobby; as well as 8 grandchildren.
