Charles Arthur Robinson

Charles A. Robinson, age 84 of Georgetown, passed away on the morning of September 21, 2021 at his home.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, September 24, 2021 at Scott’s Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Ann Hagmann officiating.  Burial will follow at Flint Creek Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the funeral service.

Charles was born on October 24, 1936 in Gatesville to the late Coyne P. Robinson and Rose Shows Robinson. He grew up and attended school in Gatesville. After graduation Charles joined the Army Reserves, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel before retiring. Charles earned a Masters Degree in Education and went on to teach in public schools for many years before he retired from teaching.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Joye Bell Cross Coon Robinson in April of 1999.

Charles is survived by his son, Paul Coon of Lubbock.
