Carolyn Zapata

Carolyn Zapata, age 75 of Oglesby, passed away on May 3, 2024, in Gatesville.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at Post Oak Cemetery in Oglesby, Texas.

Carolyn Green Zapata was born on August 31, 1948, in Oglesby, Texas to Wilson Price and Janice Mayes Green. She graduated from Gatesville High School in 1966. Carolyn raised her family in Gatesville, Texas. She married Tony Zapata and they traveled all over the United States. Carolyn particularly enjoyed her trips to Walt Disney World and loved attending Willie Nelson concerts.  Carolyn deeply loved both of her sons and adored her grandchildren.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Barton Kade Warren; and brothers, Gary Green and Donald Green.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Tony Zapata; sons, Heath Warren, and wife, Janette, and Colby Warren; grandchildren, Dustin Warren, Victor Cortez, and Mia Warren; and one great granddaughter, Jade Warren.
